The challenge
-
What is the problem we are trying to solve?
Users of energy management platforms seek real actions that lead to improved energy efficiency, cost reduction, and decarbonization of their facilities. Currently, the ABB AbilityTM Energy Manager platform is used to collect and analyze energy data, focused on electric data. The challenge is to transform this data into a suggested list of actions and leverage external data inputs such as energy tariffs, utility data, and contractual bills.
-
What is the solution to develop?
We are seeking a comprehensive AI-based solution for ABB AbilityTM Energy Manger, that enables our customers to make informed decisions on actions that improve their daily energy consumption* Comprehensive means a solution that integrates external data from third parties (such as tariffs, energy market fluctuations, data from utilities, private electricity contracts details, etc.) and can provide concrete actionable steps for improved energy usage.
Minimum Outcome Maximum Outcome Conceptualization & technical assessment of the solution
Real PoC/demo tailored on the case, showing a possible working solution for the actual challenge
PoC/demo to demonstrate the potential of the technology (no need to use the specific challenge case/data)
Business model approach for joint go-to-market proposition
-
What is the impact of the solution on our business and/or customers?
For our customers:
- Actions that have a tangible impact on energy efficiency, cost reduction, and decarbonization
- Powerful digital AI-based tool to innovate the way energy data is analyzed
- Solutions that help forecast energy consumption, key to smart grids of the future
